The Committee has the following powers and duties
- 1. Establish policies, action plans, and management guidelines for the ethical review of human research at Nakhon Phanom University, in alignment with the University’s objectives and policies.
- 2. Implement laboratory safety standards and oversee laboratory safety operations, including inspection, evaluation, and providing recommendations to enhance laboratory safety, so that research activities comply with relevant regulations, criteria, measures, and guidelines.
- 3. Support knowledge and capacity development for personnel and relevant parties, and disseminate information and updates on laboratory safety.
- 4. Monitor and evaluate implementation, and report on the progress and outcomes of laboratory safety standard development.
- 5. Coordinate and carry out activities related to laboratory safety.
- 6. Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
